How to fix exhaust tee and direction notes: step by step

  1. Connect the exhaust termination tee to the 2 in. or 3 in. PVC flue pipe as shown.
  2. Do not install an accelerator when an exhaust termination tee is used.
  3. Rotate the exhaust 45 degree elbow to the side away from the combustion air inlet if needed to keep exhaust away from neighbors.
  4. Never direct exhaust toward the combustion air inlet.
Safety: Gas, electrical and refrigerant work must be done by a licensed technician. Turn off power and gas before servicing, never bypass a safety control, and always follow the manufacturer's manual for your exact model.
