What we see in Brampton homes

Builder-original equipment at 15 to 25 years. The furnaces and ACs that came with the house are reaching the end of their life. Replacing them on your schedule beats an emergency in July.
Basement apartments. Many homes have a basement unit. When one furnace serves both floors, comfort complaints are common in both. Separate thermostats aren’t possible with one system, so we often look at a ductless unit for the basement. If you’re creating a new second unit, check the City of Brampton’s requirements first, since they affect heating and ventilation.
Large households and hot water. Busy homes run tank water heaters out of hot water quickly. A properly sized tankless unit is often the fix.

Air conditioning

Most Brampton homes have central air. If your AC is more than 12 to 15 years old and uses R-22, a refrigerant repair rarely makes sense anymore. Newer units are quieter and more efficient, and we size them for the house rather than matching the old one.

Tip: keep about 60 cm of clear space around the outdoor unit. Fences and shrubs in narrow side yards make it work much harder.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a very positive experience with Ehsan from Aurora Star Tech. I hired him to perform maintenance and safety inspections on multiple gas furnaces and gas fireplaces, including some older and less common equipment.
Ehsan was thorough and spent considerable time on each unit rather than rushing through the job. He cleaned and tested the equipment, took operating measurements, and communicated with me frequently throughout the service. I especially appreciated that he explained what he was checking, shared his findings and readings with me, and showed me how some of the older fireplaces operate.
At the end of the visit, he completed an individual written maintenance and inspection report for each units, including key measurements and findings. I really value this kind of documentation for future maintenance.
Overall, I found Ehsan knowledgeable, patient, communicative and conscientious. He took the time to do the work properly and to help me understand the condition of the equipment. I would be happy to use Aurora Star Tech again and highly recommend Ehsan and his company.

We thought we had a gas leak, but Ehsan investigated and determined that there fortunately no gas leak in our case. Instead, we had a thermostat signal issue which he resolved.
