Furnace and AC Service in Ajax

What we see in Ajax

• South Ajax: 1970s homes with equipment replaced at least once, and lakeside air that’s hard on outdoor units.
• Central Ajax: 80s and 90s homes where furnaces, ACs and water heaters are often all due within a few years of each other.
• North Ajax: newer builds with builder-original equipment and HRVs.
• Gas lines for BBQs, ranges and dryers. Our post on gas line work in Ajax covers what’s involved, and furnace safety checks before winter is worth a read in the fall.

Rebates

We’re a registered contractor with Home Renovation Savings, so qualifying heat pump and high-efficiency upgrades can come with rebates. I had a very positive experience with Ehsan from Aurora Star Tech. I hired him to perform maintenance and safety inspections on multiple gas furnaces and gas fireplaces, including some older and less common equipment.
Ehsan was thorough and spent considerable time on each unit rather than rushing through the job. He cleaned and tested the equipment, took operating measurements, and communicated with me frequently throughout the service. I especially appreciated that he explained what he was checking, shared his findings and readings with me, and showed me how some of the older fireplaces operate.
At the end of the visit, he completed an individual written maintenance and inspection report for each units, including key measurements and findings. I really value this kind of documentation for future maintenance.
Overall, I found Ehsan knowledgeable, patient, communicative and conscientious. He took the time to do the work properly and to help me understand the condition of the equipment. I would be happy to use Aurora Star Tech again and highly recommend Ehsan and his company.

Ehsan was incredibly helpful in resolving our furnace issue. We thought we had a gas leak, but Ehsan investigated and determined that there fortunately no gas leak in our case. Instead, we had a thermostat signal issue which he resolved.

Ehsan was very responsive and accommodating, and we will be using his services moving forward!

I had a leaky gas pipe behind my gas stove, and Ehsan took care of the repairs very promptly and professionally. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and patiently answered all the questions I had about the repair.

Service quote was also very reasonably priced, and I was extremely satisfied with the service I was provided.

I would 100% recommend him to anyone looking for a professional technician, and would definitely contact Ehsan again myself for any repairs in the future.
