Read or clear the last 6 faults (L6F menu) on a Trane furnace: The L6F menu replays the six most recent faults and clears them from inside.
Applies to: S8V2, S8B1, S8X1, S8X2
How to fix read or clear the last 6 faults (l6f menu): step by step
- Press Menu until L6F appears
- Press Option to enter and step through the faults
- To clear: inside the menu hold Option for at least 5 seconds, release; three dashes appear three times
