Change installer parameters (password 1234) on a Navien tankless water heater: Operating parameters 1-16 are changed from the Installer Menu, which asks for the installer password.
Applies to: Navien NPE-A2 (built-in recirculation) and NPE-S2 condensing tankless water heaters: NPE-150S2, NPE-180A2/S2, NPE-210A2/S2, NPE-240A2/S2
How to fix change installer parameters (password 1234): step by step
- Hold Menu and Back together for 3 seconds.
- Open 1. Installer Menu and enter password 1234.
- Choose 2. Parameter Settings and edit the parameter.
- The value saves by itself after 10 seconds with no input.
