Valid equipment combinations on a Goodman furnace: The furnace can be paired with: a furnace alone; a 1-stage or 2-stage non-communicating A/C or heat pump; a communicating A/C or heat pump; or a communicating A/C or heat pump inverter. All combinations assume a non-communicating single stage thermostat and AHRI matched equipment.
