Common causes of glass sooting
- Flame touching the logs.
How to fix glass sooting: step by step
- Re-set the log set as shown in the instructions
- Check the injector and air intake area for blockage or lint and clean it
- Check gas supply
Safety: Gas, electrical and refrigerant work must be done by a licensed technician. Turn off power and gas before servicing, never bypass a safety control, and always follow the manufacturer's manual for your exact model.
