Applies to: GMVC95/AMVC95 upflow and *CVC9 counterflow two-stage furnaces

How to fix clear an e0 lockout (3 ways): step by step

  1. Wait: the control resets itself after 1 hour.
  2. Cut 115 V power to the furnace and restore it.
  3. Turn the thermostat down so there is no heat call for 1-20 seconds, then set it back.
  4. If the fault is still there, it goes straight back into lockout.
Safety: Gas, electrical and refrigerant work must be done by a licensed technician. Turn off power and gas before servicing, never bypass a safety control, and always follow the manufacturer's manual for your exact model.
