Glow Brand Boiler: Cancel the 14-minute de-air sequence

Updated · by Aurora Star Tech Inc.

Cancel the 14-minute de-air sequence on a Glow Brand boiler: On every power-up (parameter 2.139 = 1) the control runs a 14-minute de-air cycle (dAir) and ignores calls. If the system is already purged you can skip it.

Applies to: B85, B120, B160 (NG and LP)

How to fix cancel the 14-minute de-air sequence: step by step

  1. Hold CH down and DHW down together for at least 3 seconds while dAir shows.
  2. To change when it runs: 2.139 = 0 runs it every 24 h, 1 after every power cycle (default), 2 disables it.
Safety: Gas, electrical and refrigerant work must be done by a licensed technician. Turn off power and gas before servicing, never bypass a safety control, and always follow the manufacturer's manual for your exact model.
