Furnace, AC and Heat Pump Service in Caledon

Caledon is part suburb, part countryside. Bolton and Mayfield West have growing subdivisions, while much of the town is rural, with larger properties, wells and homes that aren’t all on natural gas.

Two very different kinds of calls

Bolton and Mayfield West: newer homes with builder-original furnaces, ACs, humidifiers and HRVs. Replacement planning and maintenance are the usual work.
Rural Caledon: propane, oil and electric heat, larger houses, outbuildings and workshops. Cold-climate heat pumps, propane furnaces and boilers, and careful sizing for big homes.

Water heaters on well water

Hard well water scales up water heaters quickly. Tankless units need regular descaling, and a water softener protects both tank and tankless heaters. We check water hardness when we size a new unit.

Tip: if your propane bill is high, ask us about a heat pump. It can take over most of the heating season and leave the propane system as backup.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a very positive experience with Ehsan from Aurora Star Tech. I hired him to perform maintenance and safety inspections on multiple gas furnaces and gas fireplaces, including some older and less common equipment.
Ehsan was thorough and spent considerable time on each unit rather than rushing through the job. He cleaned and tested the equipment, took operating measurements, and communicated with me frequently throughout the service. I especially appreciated that he explained what he was checking, shared his findings and readings with me, and showed me how some of the older fireplaces operate.
At the end of the visit, he completed an individual written maintenance and inspection report for each units, including key measurements and findings. I really value this kind of documentation for future maintenance.
Overall, I found Ehsan knowledgeable, patient, communicative and conscientious. He took the time to do the work properly and to help me understand the condition of the equipment. I would be happy to use Aurora Star Tech again and highly recommend Ehsan and his company.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Ehsan was incredibly helpful in resolving our furnace issue. We thought we had a gas leak, but Ehsan investigated and determined that there fortunately no gas leak in our case. Instead, we had a thermostat signal issue which he resolved.

Ehsan was very responsive and accommodating, and we will be using his services moving forward!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a leaky gas pipe behind my gas stove, and Ehsan took care of the repairs very promptly and professionally. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and patiently answered all the questions I had about the repair.

Service quote was also very reasonably priced, and I was extremely satisfied with the service I was provided.

I would 100% recommend him to anyone looking for a professional technician, and would definitely contact Ehsan again myself for any repairs in the future.
