NTI Boiler: Do not add cold make-up water to a hot boiler

Updated · by Aurora Star Tech Inc.

Do not add cold make-up water to a hot boiler on a NTI boiler: Adding cold water to a hot boiler causes thermal shock that can crack the heat exchanger. This damage is not covered by warranty. Also, continual fresh make-up water shortens boiler life and must be stopped by repairing leaks at once.
